Be Social!

I feel invisible at times like no one can see me, I know that's obvious but I'm just trying to  prove a point. Am I even here right now, sometimes acknowledgments can go a long way with people. I've been doing test after test and sadly, I get the same results. They aren't shocking because they're exactly what was to be expected. This public forum that we use, this bane of social media is but an outlet. We have our poets and politicians. Yes, we have people from different walks of life and the majority of us run in the same circles, so to speak. Yet I stand in awe of the transparency that seems to swallow me. I know for every purpose there is a reason. I also know there is no cause with effect. Everything begins with a choice and from that decision leads to a consequence. Never said whether it be good or bad because it's simply what you make of it. A singer will say, "You got to make the best of a bad situation....I really got to use my imagination." Real songs like that make you think. I have no questions to ask for people who are not willing to answer. So right about now I'll just leave these statements. Again, it's your choice. Some will choose to ignore others will grasp it. It's all up to you at the end of the day. I'm done for now but for those that know me, I mean really know me, will understand that this is only the tip of the iceberg. I have yet to scratch the surface, #LikeThat

Loner Outcast Forsaken

They say the only difference between the two is personal choice. The Loner chooses to be by himself and to concern with others. The Outcast is excluded by all forms of society so he really had no choice in the matter. But consider the Forsaken for a minute. They are what I like to call a hybrid because they truly are a mix of the two. The Forsaken chooses to be alone because society has chosen to exclude him. No one accepts him and he does not trust a single soul outside of himself. The Forsaken travels the lonely road of a loner and lives the shadow life of an outcast.

Why am i telling you this, I’m trying to let you inside my head. Even just for a moment so you can see something that i have seen since i was born. The prose is a personal journey of who i am, was, and what i came or will come to be. I have written many poems in my life. I have essays and various miscellaneous writings and prose. I have short stories and other stuff of amazement. I have songs, and quotes. Do you know why people still think that the sun rises when in fact it is the earth that is moving. Do you know why people never take time to pay attention to the moon to see that it shows the same face whenever it is full?

Who is the Loner? Who is the Outcast? What is the Forsaken?
Your answer lies within yourself. You must do a lot of soul searching. I bet no one on here will be able to answer this. I wouldn't be surprised if no one read this. In fact, I'm betting that only three people will read this, one might respond, or this whole piece will go unnoticed and unrecognized. But then you will know that no matter what happens, my point will be made; it will be proven. So a challenge, no this isn't a challenge, this is a chance, an opportunity for me to see if i am right about one thing or just plain right about everything.

Still don't know what I'm talking about. Well, maybe in time you'll come to understand it. If you do, then you are one of those few who understand what i have realized my entire life. If you don't, then you're not meant to understand it at all.

Closer to Myself

Its kind of funny that this year has zipped by so fast. I really did follow my resolution and saw it through. So much as happened and I understand it all so much that I am feeling more closer to myself than I've ever been. Hopefully next year I will be able to blog more and post some nice poetry for the world to see. Who knows, I might even write some more stories.

2011 A Year to Understand

Things are going to happen this year. Some will be big and others will be small. One thing to take into this new year is to be more understanding. More understanding of others and of yourself. Just know that people are only human and no one can take control of your life. We all have a job to do this year. Let's try to love one another and treat each other with respect. Let us trust our partners and be more considerate of others. This blog is a new beginning for a new year. I wish everyone the best in 2011 and hope we all learn to understand the things that will happen. I pledge to be more tolerant and understanding of the way people are and what they do. Remember that learning to understand yourself better will help you understand other people even more. Take heed people and remember that whatever happens this year, you will have a better understanding about everything you encounter. I leave you with this; only those who persevere and endure to the end will have truly accomplished something. Understand that!
